Project Description
Using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), we could model the combustion detailed process inside the combustion chamber, and get the fluid flow characteristic to determine the momentum or kinetic energy. In this simulation, openFOAM CFD software with combustion solver was used to simulate the combustion phenomena between fuel and oxidator.
How we solved it
Our approach
In this study, we use the Large Eddy Simulation (LES) turbulence model and utilising combustion model to simulate the flow and evaluate the reaction and flow characteristics more detail in the mixing, flame, and diffusion region.
