Project Description
In this simulation, a random sized connecting rod was simulated to find the critical part and the unstressed part then evaluated to get a lighter but stronger part. This is very important design step before the parts are mass produced.
How we solved it
Our approach
open source Finite Element Method code, code-aster was used in this study to calculate the von mises stress and deformation of the part.
